Nick Westfall is the chairman and chief executive officer of Miami-based VITAS Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of end-of-life care. His decision-making guides the experiences of 12,000 healthcare workers and 22,000 patients, along with their families, across 15 states and the District of Columbia.

During Nick's executive tenure, VITAS has expanded into new markets, broadened the scope of its hospice education and advocacy efforts, and strategically invested in technology to maximize patient comfort, caregiver support, and employee satisfaction. He sits on the board of directors for the National Alliance for Care at Home, a professional advocacy organization representing home healthcare providers across the country.
